This is my dream summer house filled with designer fabrics and furnishings. The Bergere chairs featured in House and Garden were my initial inspiration to create this indulgent seaside room complete with a pair of cheeky Jack Russells.

To give due recognition to inspirations for my paintings here is a list of Designers along with Australian representation:-

Colefax and Fowler deep red Eaton check from Domus Textiles. House and Garden article featured an Adelaide Bragg project. Kit Kemp’s ‘Friendly Folk’ fabric on cushions for Andrew Martin Interiors from Unique Fabrics. The wallpaper was inspired by a Madeline Weinrib design. The white Hamptons mirror with nail trim is from Cromwell Australia. The blue/white fabric on the wall sconce shade and ottoman is from Tigger Hall’s ‘Nine Muses Textiles. The scalloped balcony awning inspired by a Schumacher wallpaper border available at Grant Dorman Interior Products. The inimitable orange ‘H’ blanket is, of course, from Hermes. And finally, the ikat fabric above the ceramic Staffordshire statue base is one of Cashmere Turtle’s bespoke lampshades.
